BPD Discard - Keeping The Door Open For Contact ?
BPD Discard. Been discarded or ghosted and leaving to door open for a BPD Ex to contact you with or with or without responding? Do you want to hear from your BPD Ex? Waiting? Many BPD Ex's are still wanting an Ex back, can't let go, and believe that reading a text, or email, is "no contact" because they aren't contacting back. This increases limerence and/or rumination. BPD texts, calls unanswered, or email hoovers are all about the person with BPD. They aren't feeling and thinking about you like you are feeling about them and how much you think about them and still care about them. No contact is the way to heal and to break the fantasy betrayal bond in therapy.
