A Codependent Using A BPD Girlfriend
This one particular commenter made it clear that he is a Codependent who is using his BPD Girlfriend because she has resources and he doesn't. His BPD Girlfriend is about to come into an inheritance and he seems to feel entitled to some of it for whatever reason.
In 16 years on this channel and 35 years of working with clients, this person's comments, are astoundingly a first. What do you think? Is using his BPD girlfriend okay? Is his lack of personal responsibility and personal respect and the impact of said valid to question?
I think it is sad, toxic, and needs to be called out when anyone - labels aside - doesn't take personal responsibility and uses someone else. It's toxic EGO and it is just as unacceptable no matter who is the user and who is the victim.
